When we moved into our second apartment at Lake Park we were told they needed more time for us to move in because the previous... tenant trashed the apartment, when they redid the apartment, they left hair on the walls and repainted over the old tenants hair in the bathroom, all the drywall work is not painted over, there are scratches all over the wall that were left not painted when we moved in. The carpet looks very quickly done because there have been parts where nails are poking out that I have stepped on, don't forget the day we moved in there were rodent droppings on the cabinets, I have pictures to prove it. Just recently our pipes were clogging in the bathtub and needed to get fixed, I'm very appreciative of Lake Park giving us another apartment to use in the meantime for a bathtub as this was the only bathroom we could use living in a 3 bed and 1 bath apartment. But, for how long it took them to get a plumber to come out and take care of the blockage was about a month, having three kids including two toddlers to go back and forth is not ideal and not worth the $2,100 I'm paying a month. That doesn't also include the washer and dryers that are always broken and we have to pay for each use, we have well over 100 residents and there are 4 washers used and a handful of dryers to use. We have lived here at Lake Park for just a few months, but I am impressed with the staff especially! I went in the office... while passing by and told Beth about an issue with our toilet running constantly. She had the maintenance guy here to fix it in 5 minutes! These apartments are quiet almost all the time and everyone is very friendly. Wonderful Home
My husband and I moved to Lake Park Apartments in Sept of 2016, and we have had nothing but positive experiences! Moving... in was extremely easy, Amanda helped every step of the way, and we decided to stay when our lease was up. Transferring apartments was simple and enjoyable. Beth took over at Lake Park, and continued the excellent management. We appreciate managers who respect their residents, and keeps the community up to date and involved. The apartments are wonderful, and we know that if we ever have a maintenance issue, Vitaly will take care of it quickly, and we won't have to ask a second time. We pay a fair price for the great apartment. Our packages have never been stolen, cars are safe in the reserved parking, and even street parking. This neighborhood is QUIET. We have never had an issue with neighbors, and there are TONS of kids around here. They are respectful, not too loud, and they don't mess with cars, and stay out of the street. We also appreciate that we can have our 2 cats with no problems, even when maintenance needs to come in, they are great with our babies! Great community to live. Lacks in parking for second vehicle or guests must park on street unless you purchase second parking... spot IF any are available . Well kept-up property
The staff were super friendly and helpful when we moved in and ever since. I mentioned that the two stands holders for dog... waste bags on the grounds were both empty, and saw the manager putting in new rolls of bags the next day. The whole complex is maintained neatly, grounds staff are friendly too. Haven't had any maintenance requests. Only annoying thing is some noise....running kids upstairs, and everyone on our block slams their front doors....always, and its loud enough to wake. Apartments are dated in some ways but in good repair. Not all units have washer dryer but there is a laundry room that is... always open.
