Living in one of the townhouses since last 2 years. Great location, awesome view, the premium rent is in line with that :)... . Apartment is a bit old, so are the appliances. The first management staff we dealt with was great. Wish the current management staff understood the customers needs more and at least tried to cater to them. Living at St James in the heart of "the center of the universe" has been a dream come true. Such beautiful views and kind... tenants. Adrienne (building manager) and Edgar (building maintenance) are a pair of wonderful people that immediately address any concerns that we have. Together they maintained the utmost cleanliness and safety for the St. James building. Adrienne welcomes each person with kindness, care, and respect. Not only is she a hard worker, sh is also very funny and really cool. She leaves a sweet message and/or thoughtful notes for us to read when we enter the building. Adrienne also created a little coffee corner for everyone, which was a nice touch. Equally as hard working is Edgar, who can fix and create anything to fit your needs. He is kind, punctual, and efficient. It takes only 24 hours for him to take care of a non-emergency issue. He has helped us so much, that he is family now! We love this place and wish we could take it with us to Hawaii. Thank you so much Adrienne and Edgar. We will miss you dearly. St. James Towers is a wonderful place to reside! Not only is the location incredible, close to the city, Burt Gilman Trail,... UW campus, and a plethora of shops and restaurants to choose from, it also provides resident with an amazing rooftop that has a view of the surrounding lakes and city! In addition, there is ample support and care provided by the admin team. A request for repair or any issue is attended to immediately. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere that is also present, thanks to the fantastic support staff! I highly recommend these wonderful apartments! Its a relatively good apartment in a great location. Cleanliness, safety, and quality of units is okay - not great but not... bad either. The biggest drawback is cost. St James is a great location and building community
The units are great, I had a two bedroom townhome with a killer view, the only reason I moved was to have my own place no... roommates . Never had to reach out to the property manager nothing broke, no concerns . Lovely Place to Call Home
Friendly staff, clean environment, feels safe. Older building, but part of the charm. I love living here
I lived at St. James just over four years, and loved the time spent there. The property is in close proximity to almost everything... in Seattle. Beautiful views, walking distance to great restaurants, the lake, parks, a grocery store and more. Pet friendly and also quite peaceful for being in a city and neighborhood with such vibrant activity. The community manager Nathan and maintenance manager Edgar are fantastic and incredibly helpful. I love living here
I really like this place I never dread coming home. The residents are quite friendly and respectful. When I moved in folks... kept telling me, Welcome I was wondering where they kept all the friendly people in Seattle. Apparently they're hiding out at St James Tower secretly having a peaceful existence.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars for the items with 4 is because the building is kind of old and the finishes are dated. BUT, it's well cared for and clean. I'll trade out of style for clean and not moldy in a heartbeat. Regarding the noise level rating, I'd give the place 4 stars if it weren't for the fact that the door to my apartment is a punched metal door with a foam core. It blocks zero noise. Due to the location of the apartment I selected at the center of a T between two wings of the building I hear everyone who walks by each time they open the adjoining doors. I never hear the neighbors on either side of me, ever. I never hear loud music, and I never hear parties and the like. Other than the door situation, the noise level is great.
The manager is completely awesome. I can tell that he's pretty much always slammed with stuff to do to keep this place rolling, but that never affects his good nature and attention to detail.Read More about I love living here

I little old but great location. The price is high
Management is fair and tries very hard to keep the tenants happy. Its not always possible but I think they do a terrific... job. All of Seattle is expensive to rent and own. The new buildings are appealing because of ....well the newness. A great place to live in Fremont
The management is onsite Monday through Friday 10am to 6pm so depending on your schedule, you may not be able to see someone... face to face. The apartment manager, Nate, is always welcome to answer questions on the phone and talk about any concerns I had while living at the St. James Towers. The rooftop amenities were nice for the age of the building but pale in comparison to other newer buildings around Lake Union. The views are amazing so that's what you're paying for... Carpets need to be replaced and the apartment was cramped for space. Our apartment was on the south side of the building so the heat in the summer was unbearable due to only one window in the apartment large sliding door facing south over N 34th St .
